Oh Lord, bring those loved ones near us. Lift up their hearts so that they, knowing they are not forgotten, will remember that we know they live as Thy Son lived.
Oh God, draw men nearer to each other. Draw the nations of the world closer. Lift the selfishness from the earth, so that prosperity and joy may come again.
Oh Lord, when will Thy Kingdom of Heaven come on earth? When will the people of the world really believe in Thee and love Thee?
Give to these who pray this night Thy blessing. Take them through this week and the coming weeks in joy and understanding. Give them the fellowship and love of their fellows. Bring them closer to Thine holy angels. Fill their houses, their homes, with those who minister unto Thee.
Oh Lord, guide them and love them. And may the friendliness of Thy Son, Jesus Christ, open up their hearts to all their neighbours in love.
